For the backend, a RESTful API was developed in PHP using a custom MVC architecture, without external frameworks, secured via JWT authentication, and designed to return standardized responses in JSON. The relational database in MariaDB manages users, categories, transactions, subscriptions, and system settings.

Premium subscriptions are verified in real time against App Store Connect and the Google Play Developer API, with an automatic expiration system using daily cron jobs. The purchase flow is 100% native without external payment gateways, complying with the policies of both app stores.

The app is developed in React Native with the Expo SDK and TypeScript, following a strict pattern of separation between logic and UI using custom hooks. It includes a push notification system with Firebase FCM for Android and APNs for iOS, dark mode with persistence, full internationalization, and multi-currency support.

To facilitate integration and communication with the backend, a RESTful API developed in PHP was implemented, protected by token authentication, and designed to provide responses in JSON format. This development made it possible to digitize and optimize the internal workflow related to orders, improving traceability and efficiency in the client's logistics operations.

In addition to the development of the app in React Native, I am in charge of coordinating task management with the client, maintaining the technical backlog, prioritizing tasks and reviewing development deliverables and a UX designer (Figma). I act as technical liaison between client and team.

One of the most complex and outstanding elements of the system was the construction of an advanced and scalable multilingual module, which allows the client to manage all web content in multiple languages from the Backoffice. The system allows:

• Create and manage new languages autonomously.
• Automatically translate entire sections, including menus, texts, custom URLs, and dynamic frontend content.
• Easily associate translations to each section without the need for technical intervention.

The platform also connects via REST API with an external provider for daily synchronization of available villa information, including descriptions, prices, images and availability. This synchronization is executed through automatic cron jobs, ensuring the constant updating of the catalog.

In addition, a customized reservation system was developed, fully integrated with the supplier, allowing users to make real-time reservations from the frontend.

The project was developed entirely by me, addressing all phases: database design, business logic, integration with suppliers, translation system, backend and frontend development, as well as the implementation of automatic synchronization tasks.

Application integrated and communicated with the Backend, implementing a RESTful API developed in PHP, protected by authentication, and designed to provide JSON format responses to the application. In addition, internal restructuring was performed on the relational database, optimized to support the various operations and queries of the app to ensure sustainable performance.

This development consisted in the creation of a social network of workers where people could register to offer or demand jobs from others. The application is developed under i18n for the control of different languages since its publication was in the Google Play and Apple Store in the USA.

The system includes an advanced language management module, which allows from the Backoffice:

• Add new languages automatically.
• Manage complete translations of menus, texts, and Frontend content.
• Manage skills, experiences, trainings and the portfolio of work done with support to add the necessary translations to each language.

The Frontend was built from a HTML/CSS template, fully adapted and integrated with the system logic. Technologies used included PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS and the Bootstrap framework.

The development focused on providing a robust, flexible and scalable solution, allowing me to display my professional expertise in multiple languages in an efficient and centralized way, without relying on third party services.

The design was custom developed by the in-house design team, and my responsibility was its technical implementation using PHP with the Laravel framework, along with technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery and AJAX.

The tasks performed include:

• Configuration and adaptation of the database to support new content and functionalities.
• Development of a customized Backoffice for the efficient management of contents and sections of the site.
• Integration with external providers through API REST to obtain travel data, check availabilities and manage reservations in real time.

This project allowed Different Roads to offer an improved user experience and a more efficient internal management of its tourism services.

Matrixeo.com also includes an internal social network for subscribers, allowing user registration, profile customization, activity history, blog participation, and access to custom developed interactive games such as “Who's Who”.

It currently has more than 150 registered users and is optimized to offer a dynamic and automated experience both in terms of content and community.
